Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 7, 2026

Simpliruta ("we," "our," or "us") operates a cloud-based field service management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our service at simpliruta.com and any related mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). Please read it carefully.

1. Information We Collect

Account & Company Information

When you register, we collect your name, business email address, company name, phone number, and billing details necessary to provision your account and process payments through our payment processor (Stripe).

Operational Data

As you use the Service you create and store business records including customer profiles, service addresses, job orders, work schedules, invoices, contracts, service reports, and catalog items. This data belongs to you and is processed on your behalf.

Employee & Technician Data

You may add employee profiles (names, contact details, roles) to manage your field workforce. You are responsible for informing those individuals that their data is stored within the Service.

Usage & Device Data

We automatically collect log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, feature interactions, and timestamps. On mobile, we may collect device identifiers and approximate location when the application is active and location permission is granted.

Communications

If you contact support or respond to our emails, we retain the content of those communications to resolve your inquiry and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
  • Send transactional communications (invoices, job notifications, receipts).
  • Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.
  • Monitor and analyze usage to improve performance and features.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Send product updates or marketing communications — you may opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in those emails or through your account settings.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party vendors to operate the Service, including Supabase (database & authentication hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (SMS notifications), and infrastructure providers. These vendors process data solely on our instructions and are bound by data processing agreements.

Your Customers

Invoice and payment links shared with your customers contain only the information you explicitly include in those documents.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Simpliruta, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers

If Simpliruta is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for 90 days to allow reactivation, after which it is deleted from production systems within a reasonable period. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics. Backup copies may persist for up to 30 additional days following deletion from production.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, row-level security policies on our database, and access controls limiting employee access to production data. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We may use first-party analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — request erasure of your personal data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection / Restriction — object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw Consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@simpliruta.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for use by businesses and is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International Transfers

Simpliruta is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
